Work is underway to bring rigorous secondary education to an impoverished and educationally deprived district in Southeast Liberia. For decades, young people in this district could only hope to achieve a 6th grade education; now there is new hope. Enthusiastic and committed local leaders have donated 700 acres of land of which a portion will be used for a new school that will serve up to 500 7th - 12th grade students. A classic Christian secondary curriculum will prepare students for college and vocational trades. Estimated cost for the school is $130,000.00. Agricultural projects have also begun; a health clinic will follow.
